District Performance Plan Summary
Our vision at Lincoln County School District is to build a culture of success through education.
Our mission is to teach critical thinking, communication, and collaboration so all students have the opportunity to succeed in their endeavors toward career and college readiness.
The vision, mission, and goals of Lincoln County School District will be communicated to the staff, students, parents and community.
By the end of the 2017-2018, at least 75% of the staff, students, parents and community will know or be aware of the vision, mission, and goals of Lincoln County School District as measured by pre and post parent and staff surveys.
All teachers will use effective teaching practices and Response to Instruction (RtI) or Mastery Connect data, to increase grade level growth in English/Language Arts, Math and Science in all students.
During the 2017-2018 school year, at least 80% of elementary and middle school students will make adequate growth on the MAPs RIT scores. 100% of high school students will participate in the end of course final exams and juniors will participate in the ACT.
All licensed staff will be evaluated with the Nevada Educators Performance Framework (NEPF). All licensed staff will self-assess and set goals to build a culture of success for administrators, teachers, and students.
During the 2017-2018 school year, 100% of the licensed staff will participate in the NEPF.
